1. Our Mission and Core Principles

All members and moderators are expected to uphold these principles. Violations may result in corrective actions, including warnings, temporary restrictions, or account removal.
2. Ownership of the Platform and Content
The Platform is a private platform wholly owned and operated by Castro Valley News, a wholly owned business of Kestone LLC (“we,” “our,” “us”). All content shared, posted, or otherwise transmitted on the Platform becomes the property of Castro Valley News and Kestone LLC. By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use any content you post, including but not limited to text, images, videos, and comments.
- This license applies to any medium and purpose, including promotional activities, research, and platform improvement.
In exchange for members respecting our core principles, we will ensure that their information, posts, and other shared content will not be sold to any third-party organizations or businesses for any purpose outside of the interest of the community.
3. Privacy and Safety
